Organise your things by place and room
We have built in specific functionality which is designed to help our defence customers that are regularly posted and need to keep an inventory of their things. Our My Places feature allows you to create customised places within your home inventory and add rooms to each place. This means that instead of having to do an inventory in the weeks before you get posted, you can simply update it over time.
Easily produce reports for your defence relocation
One gripe that we’ve heard from defence personnel is that it can be a nuisance to submit paperwork, update it if something changes and generally manage the process. We understand that the list has to go to the person managing the move, the defence contractor that is coordinating it and the removalist. We also understand that you may want to take out additional insurance.
To save you hassle we’ve created a tool that allows you to quickly produce an inventory report that you can provide to all of these people. And if you realise that your forgot something or there is an error, then correct it in your inventory and then download an updated report.
Moving your things around is easy
Once your move is complete it is easy to shift things around in your inventory. If something has ended up in a new room then open the item and select the new location for it. If there’s a number of things that you want to move at once then select the place and choose those items you want to put in the new room. Click the move button and choose the new place and room and it’s done.
Postings can be a hassle and we can’t change all of that, we can make managing a list of your things a little easier though. And if you have to make a list anyway then why not use it for other reasons too. We make that easy as well.
